Yes, you can use your progressive glasses while working on your computer, as long as the prescription on your progressive glasses is your own prescription.

Weaker glasses for reading and computer will help your eyes be relaxed

If you feel that the glasses are too strong for the computer you should get progressive glasses. Or just separate glasses for the computer with special coatings.

Weaker glasses for reading and computer will help your eyes be relaxed while doing up close work and may even stop the progress of your nearsightedness.

Yes, you can use the same progressive glasses, they can be used for BOTH distance and near vision.

Progressive glasses allows you to see both distance and reading, near distance vision arm length away including computer use. You can use your progressive glasses as they are very convenient and save time and hassle free switching to different glasses all the time.
