I want to order Bifocal glasses but I am worried about the frame size and lens height. How will I know they are best for bifocal glasses? And how do you measure desired height for reading bifocals?

Reading height on Bifocals depend on the lens height of the frame you have chosen, see for example the frame has 30mm lens height. You wear your glasses right in the middle of nose bridge which is the most common. The reading height will be placed HALF of the lens height which is 15mm. If you have special instruction to keep the reading height lower like 12mm, we can do so, just put it in the comment field on your order.

Standard procedure in fitting a reading bifocal height will be half of the lens height. For example, if lens height of a particular frame is 30mm, reading bifocal is 15mm, you may also add special instructions like you want them lower to 12mm.

Frames that has at least 27mm in lens height works for Bifocals. The reading depends on the lens height of the frame, it is normally placed half of the lens height. Example: The particular frame is 32mm in lens height, half of the lens height is 16mm which the bifocal reading is placed. If you want them lower, you can add a note and special instructions to your order.
