Default "How to find a frame that fits you nicely"

Before you start browsing frames or place your order, make sure your have 3 pieces of information in hand:

1. Head Size,
2. PD (Pupil Distance)
3. Prescription

* Head Size. To find a frame that fits you nicely, make sure TOTAL WIDTH of the frame is close to your head size (within 5mm difference). To get your head size, you can either measure the total width of your current frame, or follow the illustration below to measure your head size. Be aware, all measurements are in mm and 1 inch=25.4 mm.

Default Picking Out The Right Coloring

Picking Out The Right Coloring

There are three aspects you should look at when choosing glasses: skin tone, eye color, and hair color.

Skin tone
: This is the primary focus in choosing glasses. Matching your skin color will be most important, especially if you like to dye your hair. Everybody is either cool (blue tones) or warm (yellow tone). You will want to match your skin tone with your glasses. For instance, if you are a cool color, than choose cool colors for your glasses.

Eye Color: Matching your eye color can really cause the color of your eyes pop! Like wearing blue glasses with blue eyes, or green glasses with green eyes. This is secondary in importance, so keep in mind your skin tone, before your eyes.

Hair Color
: Hair color can also be either warm colors or cool colors; for instance

Cool - strawberry blond, platinum blonde, black with blue tint, white, salt-and-pepper as well as "dishwater" brown

Warm - golden blond (more of a yellow tint), flat black, brown with a golden hue, red hair that could be defined as a carrot-top, and "dirty" gray.

Default There are three important measurements

There are three important measurements placed on the inside of eyeglass frames, for example 49-20-139. The first number (49) represents the size of the lenses, the second number (20) is the bridge size and the third number (139) is the temple length, which is where the arms bend to hook over the ears. Unfortunately, there are no standard sizes, and each frame will vary.

in order for you to pick right frame, make sure to know your frame sizes first,

There are three figures listed on the side of the frame,

* the first number is the width of the lenses;
* the second is the bridge distance, or distance between the lenses,
* the third is the full length of the temple/arm (including the part that goes behind your ear)..

To ensure the frame size is right for you, the most important figure is TOTAL WIDTH.

To find out your TOTAL WIDTH, you can either measure the hinge to hinge distance of your own frame, or you can measure the distance between the front edges of your forehead.
