I am looking to buy for a pair of progressives. I see there are options for lens package which I am confused which to prefer. Why do I need to chose lens package? What is the difference?

As you can see, depending on lens type, there are different types of lens packages. You will notice higher index lenses which means more thinner and more light weight. There are also lens package that is used for a special material such as Polycarbonated lenses and high impact lenses. THey are more durable and stronger.
