I have been wearing Progressives over the years. They are standard progressive lenses. I have learned that there is another type of progressive lenses which are free form. What is the diefference between Standard progressives and progressive Free Form?

Standard progressive glasses have only limited viewing channels located at the center of the lenses. They are known for distortion.

Free form or wide view progressives have wider viewing channels and reduce distortion.
