I chose to wear transition lenses because it is very convenient for me since I go in and out a lot, it does not need me to switch from clear working glasses to sunglasses. But my question is, does transitions lenses take time to change to clear say for example I went from outdoors then to indoors? Please let me know.

I've had them for a few years and, except for the transition (ha) time when you've just come inside and they are in the process of changing to clear again (1-2 minutes), I don't have a problem with that. For me, they are pretty handy, because I need my glasses all the time and I have a long history of losing my sunglasses. With a ten dollar pair, no big deal, but when they are prescription, it ups the stakes quite a bit.

Normally it takes 2-3 minutes for transitions to adjust to level of UV rays. Like from inside your office going outdoors on a sunny day.
