Default Do I have to go to my eye doctor to have my segment height measured?

I have progressive eyeglasses but it seems the progression is not placed comfortably for my eyes. I was told to bring my eyeglasses to my eye doctor and have my segment height measured. Is this necessary? Do I have to go to my eye doctor to have my segment height measured?

Yes, segment height is required to ensure correct fitting of progression reading. You need to bring your eyeglasses to the eye doctor and have the segment height measured for a particular frame.

The segment height varies depending on the frame style. You need to bring your eyeglasses to your eye doctor and have it measured. This will ensure correct fitting of the progression lenses.
