Default Can I upgrade my lenses without visiting my eye doctor?

I have -4.50 both eyes on my distance vision correction, with a little astigmatism on my left eye Only. I ordered my eyeglasses online, and when I got them, I felt the magnification is weak. Can I upgrade my lenses to 4-.75 both eyes without visiting my eye doctor ad have him check my eyes?

Default correct prescription

I suggest to see your eye doctor so that he can check the eye glasses that you are wearing if its correct prescription and to check if your prescription needs to be changed. If you wear glasses with incorrect prescription, you are just putting your eyes at risk. wearing incorrect prescription will worsen your eye problems.

It is best you visit an eye doctor and have your eyes checked. It may not be good for your eyes if you upgrade to higher Rx without having them checked.

For a wiser choice, try visit an eye doctor first and tell him about your concern, should you be getting an upgrade or no.
