Default My PD

I am ordering prescription eye glasses but I do not see PD number written on my prescription. Can anyone help me? How will I be able to get PD number?

Since you don't have PD on your prescription. try to call your eye doctor to confirm, But i believe Most of them will charge $5 for measuring your PD(recommended).

You have several ways to obtain Pupil Distance, but most optical store strongly recommend to have your PD measured by a professional. just to make sure or to avoid mistake on your order,

Default Tips on how to measure PD

1. If you bought glasses before, contact the store you got your glasses from and ask them for your PD(recommended).
2. Go to a local eyewear store or optometrist office and get your PD measured. Most of them will only charge $5 for measuring your PD(recommended).
3. Contact your optometrist for your PD(recommended).
4. Measure the PD yourself, though not recommended

Default To measure your Pupillary Distance (PD):

Place a regular ruler on the bridge of your nose. Have a friend face you about arms length away. Have your friend measure the distance between the center of your pupils (the black dots in the middle of your eyes). Or you can do it yourself simply by looking in the mirror. If you need your glasses on to do this, you can draw dots on the lenses where your pupils are (using a magic marker or highlighter); then take the glasses off and measure the distance between them.
