Default Thickness of lenses in astigmatism correction lenses

Hello,

I have my script and it says I have sphere number on OD right eye, but I do not have astigmatism correction on my right. While on the other hand, the left eye has number for Sphere and I do have astigmatism on left eye. My concern is, since my eye prescription is not balanced, do I get the lenses thicker then the other? I was worried this will look odd on me.

Default

Most of the time, strong prescription makes your lenses look thicker. But using the higher index lenses, this can reduce your lens thickness and lesser curves on the lenses that will allow less distortion.
