When i placed my order online it asked if i have astigmatism.

WhAT is that? is that an illness?

I need an answer who really knows about this matter.

well, Astigmatism may accompany farsightedness or nearsightedness. Usually it is caused by an irregularly shaped cornea (called corneal astigmatism).
But sometimes astigmatism results from an irregularly shaped lens, which is located behind the cornea.
But most astigmatism are hereditary.
