  • What are the different types of Progressive lens?

Standard - Ideal for new and familiar progressive lens wearers, this traditional design offers a wide distance zone for natural eye movement, coupled with a smooth progression to near vision. This lens design has medium peripheral distortion yet it relatively easy to adapt to.

Premium (Freeform / Rear Surface) - This optimum design provides tremendous clarity from distance through to near with minimal soft focus and incredible fast adaptation. Freeform, or direct, surfacing makes it possible to grind the front, back, or both sides of a lens as needed to produce sophisticated tailored lens designs.

Elite (Freeform / Rear Surface) - This elite design offers optimised digital Ray-Path* technology with balanced power distribution between distance and near vision areas for enhanced vision across the whole lens including computer and office activities.

The technology on these lenses is a big leap forward even on the freeform progressives we currently offer, and therefore is the lens of choice for those considering a varifocal lens.
