Technique for cleaning anti-reflection-coated eyeglass lenses:
1. Spray the lenses with Windex, or any glass cleaner 2. Rub the lenses gently between thumb and forefinger to dissolve the grease with the cleaning liquid 3. Rinse with luke-warm water. 4. Blot-dry--don't rub--the lenses with any soft absorbent paper--toilet paper, Kleenex, Dunkin' Donuts napkins, etc. Not rubbing the lenses with a drying cloth will greatly extend the life of the anti-reflection coating. |
