Is bendable glasses ok for a 3 year old kid?

Please help. My 3 year old kid needs again for the 3rd time this year, a new pair of glasses. Each time he have a new glasses, he just snaps them and broke them. I was thinking if I get him bendables, that way glasses would stand. Is bendable glasses ok for a 3 year old kid?
