I wanted to get my progressives lenses in a sunglasses frame. But at some point it just did not work out. The distance vision is fine but the progression is terrible as I see a lot of distortion.

Most sunglasses are oversized or with curvy shaped frame, some technical aspects that it does not work on progressions. Especially if the SPHERE is +. Sunglasses can only work great with Single Visions.

There are large sunglasses frame that just don't work out with progressives lenses. They can work with the single vision distance only correction. The curvy frame style affect the prescription and the oversize wide frames do not work when prescription is applied.
