Can frame S4065 accommodate a bifocal, transition with a P.D. of 58,55?
have had similar frames rejected because of narrow PD so wanted to make sure.

I know, but the lab has said that they cannot accommodate a PD of 57 with frames similar to the above so I want to verify there is no problem with these.

As long as the frame has a lens height of at least 28mm they should work with Bifocals. You also need to pick the right frame size that fits.

To ensure the frame size is right for you, the most important figure is TOTAL WIDTH.

To find out your TOTAL WIDTH, you can either measure the hinge to hinge distance of your own frame, or you can measure the distance between the front edges of your forehead.

As long as those numbers are within 5mm of the total width of frame you want to purchase, the frame should fit you perfectly.
