Frames with atleast 27mm in lens height works with Bifocal lens, but as for me, I want to have 30mm in lens height as I see I am more comfortable with them and has enough space for top distance and bottom reading.

In choosing the right frame size, first you need to check on the measurements needed. One is total width of the frame which is the most important size, it determines the correct fit. You can measure the hinge to hinge measurement of your own frame or measure the front edges of your forehead. Measurements are in millimeters (mm). Second is the lens height, it is the lens measurement from top to bottom of the lenses, If you are looking to buy bifocals , at least 27mm works best, for progressives, ideal lens height is 30-32mm.
